• Affiliation and current position: Research Engineer at Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland (SIDN); Guest Researcher at the University of Twente in the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS) research group.
• Relevant qualifications: Eight years of experience as a researcher on DNS and DNSSEC in the research team of the registry of the Dutch ccTLD (.nl). Awarded a PhD from the University of Twente by defending the thesis on DNSSEC algorithm transition in 2021 [1]. Since 2022, co-chair of the DNS working group at RIPE. Member of the Design Team to Evolve Root Zone Security [2]. Part of the consortium that carried out the RSSAC028 Implementation study, commissioned by ICANN.

• Motivation for membership in the RSSAC Caucus: I attended a couple of sessions of RSSAC apart from the mandatory session as a fellow in the recently concluded ICANN79 meeting and I became interested in the work of RSSAC as an engineer. I can contribute my skills as a researcher who has written, presented and published peer reviewed papers in international journals including IEEE. I am very good in review of reports, I am an excellent researcher who has contributed to both national and international research. As a Vice Chair of the United Nation- ITU Meterverse Focus Group and a strong member of ITU Study Group 11 Protocols and Standards Working Group, I will bring my experience to bear in drafting, review and editing of standards and also collaborate with other members as a team player. My background from Africa needs to be adequately represented and also, show what we can contribute positively
• Indication of availability: I am available to attend both the online meetings and physical meetings. I am also available to contribute at least 10 hours per month of voluntary time. I also want to contribute to the caucus Working Groups especially on Internet Governance, ICT Infrastructure and research.

Motivation
I teach Internet Protocol to Students at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and I also carry out some research on the Internet workings and I think this would me contribute more while I also get to learn. I am a first-time fellow at ICANN 61in San Juan and I got more interested in RSSAC. I am also attending IETF 101 in London as an ISOC Fellow and I hope that being part of RSSAC would help me in keeping things going. I have a good Knowledge of the working od DNS but I have never worked on a DNS server. I think we need more people from developing countries participating actively and since I have a good background I want to take a lead on this.

I am available to attend online and face to face meetings. My plan is to be an active member and participate in the working group. I am also attending a lot of the RSSAC meetings in ICANN61.

I am active in the IETF, DNS OARC and RIPE and other NOG communities, discussing the stability and security of internet infrastructure (DNS and routing in particular). Working for NLnet Labs, an open-source DNS software vendor, I am very much engaged in DNS standards, security and operational practices. I am involved in applied research projects on DNS and internet routing, stability and security (these projects are run either with colleagues at NLnet Labs or with external partners like universities or research institutes). One specific project I am involved with is the SAND project that focuses on monitoring and managing anycast networks for DNS services.

Motivation
I have an interest in the deployment and operation of the root server system. From my activities as software developer and researcher, I think I can share my experiences and contribute to discussions.

Founding Director of Center of Research in Networks and Telecom (CoReNeT). Professor and researcher at Capital University, Islamabad

PhD (in networks domain), University of Paris-Sud, France (2000), while working at INRIA. Co-author of an RFC on MANET routing protocol. 20+ years of experience of working on Internet technologies. Also obtained some formal trainings by APNIC and ISOC on DNSSEC, IPv6, IXP Deployment, etc.

Motivation for membership in the RSSAC Caucus:
CoReNeT is quite involved in research, design and implementation projects, as well as the trainings and capacity building on several aspects of IP based networks. Recently, I got involved a bit more in DNSSEC, and also co-authored an Internet Draft in this domain to be presented in the IETF 100 meeting. As I am associated with ICANN for some time in various roles, I would also like to contribute in the RSSAC process, document reviews, etc.

Indication of availability:
I think that I can make myself available to attend meetings and to participate in conference calls. Additionally, I can also manage 5-8 hours a month for documents reviews, etc.

I started with IETF in 1997 and participated quite often in the meetings, initially in manet WG then later on in mptcp and recently in dnsops. I started participating in ICANN meetings in 2012 and also served as ICANN NomCom member (2015-2017). I am also involved in the re-delegation process of our national ccTLD, and associated with IDN ccTLD as an expert. Teaching computer networks as a complete system for 17+ years in university, I am interested to enhance the understanding and strengthen the expertise about the RS system. This will also be helpful for my other roles as a board member of Pakistan IXP, Chair of the Board of ISOC Islamabad Chapter and the Chair IEEE Islamabad Section.

Name: Arturo L. Servin

Motivation
Since day one of my working experience I have been related to Internet matters. In the not so early but early days of the Internet in Mexico I worked very closely in the development and operation of its first backbone, I helped NIC Mexico with one of their first network infrastructure and later I worked in the creation of the Internet2 backbone. I spent later years deploying enterprise networks based on TCP/IP and working in routing protocols, VoIP, DNS and security until I joined LACNIC in 2010 as Chief Technology Officer.

In LACNIC I worked in several projects promoting and deploying IPv6, DNSSEC, routing security and other protocols developed in the IETF. During my work in LACNIC I looked forward to improving the participation and work of latin american people in technical and Internet governance forums such as the IETF, ICANN, IGF and others. Also, when possible, I tried to participate in the former RSSAC meetings held during the IETF. As head of technology in LACNIC I consider that I played an important role to deploy important projects that involved DNS architecture, RPKI and the next generation of the whois protocol.

In my current employment in Google Inc, part of my work is to contribute to the development of the Internet in Latin America and the Caribbean. Following that mission and my personal interest I found important to collaborate in the RSSAC.
