Public Comment is a vital part of our multistakeholder model. It provides a mechanism for stakeholders to have their opinions and recommendations formally and publicly documented. It is an opportunity for the ICANN community to effect change and improve policies and operations.

The RrSG recognizes the importance of these amendments and supports them as a vital next step in the ICANN community’s efforts to address DNS Abuse. The RrSG urges the amended wording of the RAA, the RA, and the Advisory to remain as currently drafted. These amendments represent significant efforts between ICANN and CPH, and any proposed changes should be considered by future policy efforts rather than resulting in changes to the amendments or the Advisory that could jeopardize the approval processes of the registrars and registries.
