Hello great job by the team at Powersoft Africa for this huge task of the 2023 Africa Domain Name Industry Study.

I will like to disagree with the pricing for African domain name registration prices as seen in section 7.1 of the document under Key Success Factors- Registries and Registrars.

Unlike the cost of $100 and above quoted in the document to register a ccTLD, looking at the two most advanced countries with the number of ccTLD domain name registrations in Africa (South Africa and Nigeria), a co.za registration will cost you an average of $14 while .com.ng is not even up to $2 to register. A .ng which is the most expensive in Nigeria ccTLD averages about $5 to register.
