Greetings from ICANN 53! If you're focused on following the IANA Stewardship Transition and Enhancing ICANN Accountability processes here in Buenos Aires or from your computer at home, I've compiled a quick reference guide of the meetings that may be of interest to you. Please don't hesitate to join in the discussions no matter where you are in the world. It's been a gratifying experience over the past year to see the incredible amount of effort, thought and work the ICANN community and staff have put into this process –truly a testament to the strength of the multistakeholder model.

NTIA Administrator, Larry Strickling, will speak at Sunday evening's IANA Stewardship Transition & History of ICANN Accountability session, providing his views on both the IANA Stewardship Transition and Enhancing ICANN Accountability proposals to date. The session will then focus on the evolution of ICANN's accountability through the organizational maturation and expansion over the past 17 years, and include panelists from the current Enhancing ICANN Accountability process and from the 2002 Evolution and Reform Committee.

Following the Opening Ceremony on Monday, the CCWG-Accountability and CWG-Stewardship will come together for a Joint Town Hall Meeting to discuss outcomes from the Enhancing ICANN Accountability Work Stream 1 Draft Recommendations public comment period, and to reinforce the conditionality between the two groups' proposals. For more information, you can read a statement by the co-Chairs of the two groups here: Continuing Alignment: Working Together Towards a New Stewardship and Enhanced Accountability. The CWG-Stewardship will also hold a solo engagement session on Monday to discuss the Domain Names community proposal and gather important community feedback as they inch closer to submission to the ICG.

Additionally, there will be seven working sessions taking place in Buenos Aires. These sessions are where the working groups discuss elements of their proposals, develop language and move towards consensus. Like all sessions, these working sessions can be followed remotely via Adobe Connect rooms. ICG sessions will be live interpreted into five UN languages plus Portuguese. Please view the links below in the agenda for more information.
