Schedule for ICANN72 Virtual Annual General Meeting Now Available

4 October 2021

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has published the schedule for the ICANN72 Virtual Annual General Meeting taking place from 25-28 October 2021. The meeting will be conducted during regular working hours in the Pacific Daylight Time zone (UTC -7).

Initially planned to be held in Seattle, USA, from 23-28 October, ICANN72 will take place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following consultation with ICANN community leadership, the decision to modify ICANN72 to a four-day meeting was made to support attendees and encourage greater participation. ICANN72 is the sixth virtual ICANN Public Meeting.

Registration is required to access the participation details within the schedule. Details and information about remote participation tools, including interpretation, can be found here.

To prepare for ICANN72, the ICANN community is encouraged to attend Prep Week from 12-14 October 2021. The Prep Week session schedule is available here. Registration is required. You can read more information about Prep Week here.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
