ICANN Seeks Input on Proposed Language for ASP and RSP Terms and Conditions

24 July 2024

Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) opened a new Public Comment proceeding. This proceeding seeks input from the ICANN community on proposed language for the Terms and Conditions for the New gTLD Program: Next Round Applicant Support Program and Registry Service Provider Evaluation Program.

Please note that this Public Comment proceeding will stay open for 30 days, and ICANN will not accommodate any requests for extensions. The shorter period is essential to allow ICANN org staff to review the comments and make updates, as required, within the timeline to the launch of the Applicant Support Program and the Registry Service Provider Evaluation Program, which is scheduled for mid Q4 2024, as described in the New gTLD Program: Next Round Implementation Plan.

For more information and to participate in this proceeding, please visit this webpage.

Submissions Opening Date: Wednesday, 24 July 2024

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
