Today, both the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) published their unaudited financial results through the third quarter of fiscal year 2022.
ICANN's financial position remains as strong as it has been for the past several quarters. Funding through March 2022 is higher than the previous year's actual funding and the current year's budgeted funding, driven by the growth of domain name registrations. Expenses are lower than budgeted, predominantly due to limited travel caused by travel restrictions, ICANN72 and ICANN73 being held virtually, and lower than planned headcount.
These statements and other financial documents are available on the ICANN Financial and Planning Information page and the PTI Financial Information page.
