On 25 Ocotber 2001, ICANN and the .au Domain Administration Limited (auDA)
entered into a ccTLD Sponsorship Agreement under which auDA is recognized
as the manager for the .au ccTLD. The agreement is based on the 4 July
2001 endorsement
of auDA by the Government of Australia, the 31 August 2001 IANA
Report on Request for Redelegation of the .au Top-Level Domain, and
the 10 September 2001 ICANN
Board's approval of the ccTLD Sponsorship Agreement. The agreement
