Jonne Soininen
Jonne Soininen, Head of Internet Affairs, is responsible for Internet technology standardization and technical regulatory topics at Nokia Siemens Networks. He joined Nokia 1999 and joined Nokia Siemens Networks at its foundation in 2007.
In the standardization front, Jonne has been active in Thirds Generation partnership project (3GPP), the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) - in both of them in various working groups and roles. In addition he is active in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) serving as the co-chair of IPv6 operations Working Group, a member of the IETF administrative Oversight Committee (IAOC), and recently he is serving as the co-chair of the Network-based Localized Mobility Management (netlmm) WG and the chairman of the IAOC.
In the policy front, Jonne has been participating in ICANN for several years. In addition, he has been an active participant to the Internet Governance Forum since its creation.
Jonne was appointed the TLG Liaison for 2009.
